A Camberwell man has been charged with serious driving offences after the tragic death of 44-year-old dad Ronaldo Medeiros De Oliveria.
Abdirahman Ahmed, 19, of Lilford Road, appeared in Croydon Magistrates’ Court charged with six separate driving offences on Saturday, May 27.
Mr Medeiros Oliveira (pictured) was killed in an incident involving his motorbike and a car on Leigham Court Road, Streatham, at around 8pm on Thursday, May 11.
Paramedics had rushed to the site of the accident but discovered him suffering serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police appealed for information from the public and Ahmed was arrested on May 25.
He has been charged with:
– causing death by dangerous driving;
– causing death while driving uninsured;
– causing death while driving unlicensed;
– failing to stop at the scene of an accident;
– driving without insurance;
– driving not in accordance with a licence.
