An interesting little fact for Walworth residents that are also fans of the hit TV sitcom Only Fools and Horses – the market in the opening title is not Rye Lane but East Street.
In a recent article by the Londonist the Peckham based series (mainly filmed in Bristol) looked at London locations in the opening credits of TV classics. Well Peckham can still lay claim to another classic, Channel 4’s longest running sitcom Desmond’s.
