A Peckham man has been charged with the murder of Jeremiah Sewell in Lewisham.
Godfrey Tanishe Madondo, 19, of Colegrove Road, Southwark was charged along with Kadio Kadio, 18, of Crown Drive, Romford, on Tuesday, July 19.
They appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, 20 July), where they were remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 22 July
Police launched the murder investigation on Saturday, July 16, after Mr Sewell, from Bellingham, attended a south London hospital with stab injuries to his neck. Tragically, he later died in hospital.
Two 19-year-old women who were arrested on Tuesday, 19 July on suspicion of murder and perverting the course of justice remain in custody.
An 18-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 17 July on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
