Detectives returned to the Rockingham Estate on Sunday to renew their appeal for information that could help the murder investigation into McCaulay Junior Urugbezi-Edwards.
Two people have already been arrested after the eighteen-year-old was found stabbed on Tiverton Street at 9.30pm on Sunday, May 5 and died in hospital the same night.
Both arrests were made on Tuesday, May 7. A seventeen-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder in Norwich and has been bailed until early June.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested in south east London on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released under investigation. Police say the pair are known to each other.
A post-mortem held at Greenwich Mortuary last Wednesday recorded cause of McCaulay’s death as a stab wound to the left thigh.
On Sunday, officers handed out appeal leaflets and spoke with members of the public in the hope they could gain new information about what happened that night.
DCI Richard Leonard, who is leading the investigation, said: “Two arrests have been made but we still need to hear from anyone with information that could help us.
“We are following a number of active lines of enquiry based on CCTV, forensic analysis and local engagement but we need to hear from those who live and work in the area and have an understanding of what took place.
McCaulay was chased from Newington Gardens, which is known as Gaol Park, into Tiverton Street where he was attacked and found shortly after by London Ambulance Service Medics.

“I am convinced there are people who hold the answers to what happened and are yet to come forward.”
