Police rushed to Empire Square East, on Long Lane, Bermondsey, this morning (August 4) to reports of group of people fighting and found a woman who is reported to have injuries ‘sustained from a fall from height’.
After police responded to the call at 10.12am they also found one male near the scene (near the junction with Borough High Street beside Tesco Metro) with a stab injury.
Both were treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
Two other males, who also had stab injuries, were detained by police near the scene on suspicion of GBH. They have also been taken to hospital. And another woman is being treated for shock was taken by ambulance crews to hospital.
Police said that none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
A crime scene has been put in place and enquires continue.
