Police have released an image of a boy as young as 13 who they suspect of carrying out three sexual assaults within three hours.
The horrific assaults took place in two streets in Lewisham in the evening of Thursday, September 2.
At about 5pm a woman was walking in Malyons Road near Ladywell station. The suspect followed a woman as she entered the communal area of a block of flats. When he was inside he grabbed her jacket, sexually assaulted her and ran off.
Nearly three hours later the suspect came up to a woman from behind in Chudleigh Road at about 7.45pm. He made explicit comments and hinted he had a knife before sexually assaulting her. The woman then ran off.
The final incident happened at around 8pm, again in Malyons Road. The suspect approached a woman who was walking in the street and sexually assaulted her. As she challenged him, he grabbed her hair, ripping a piece out before walking off in the direction of Ladywell Road.
Police describe the suspect as a light skinned black male, aged around 13-15 years old, of average build. He has short black hair with waves on top. In each instance he was wearing a knee-length, dark grey puffer jacket.
