An investigation has been launched into an alleged kidnapping in Peckham after a witness reported seeing a man bundled into a BMW against his will.
The incident is said to have happened in Kinsale Road, near the junction of Dewar Street, at 2.225pm on Sunday (October 6).
The witness said the man was forced into the car by three other men before driving off in the direction of Dewar Street and onto Fenwick Road and Arnott Road.
Police were able to find and track the registration number – YE19 NDX – and arrested four men on suspicion of kidnap who all remain in police custody.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
