A man has been charged after a ‘shooting’ on Lambeth Walk in Kennington on Saturday (February 5).
Rupert Earl-Ocran, 27 (23.08.94), who also lives on Lambeth Walk, was charged today (Thursday, February 10) with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of a firearm.
He was due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
A 36-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and attempted murder and an 18-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm have been bailed pending further enquiries.
It came after gunshots were reported at a housing development on the street in Lambeth Walk on Saturday night.
No-one was injured when officers attended the scene.
“Tackling violence remains our top priority. Restricting the availability of firearms is critical to protecting communities,” said detective sergeant Jake Ellis.
“Firearms have no place in London”, he added.
