Police said that a 22-year-old man is left fighting for his life after a stabbing last night (Friday, April 23) in Bermondsey.
Police were called to Goldsworthy Gardens, on the revamped Silwood Estate, off Rotherhithe New Road in South Bermondsey, at around 8.34pm to reports of a group of people fighting.
Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a 22-year-old man with stab injuries. He was taken to a south London hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police now await a full assessment of his condition and a crime scene remains in place.
A spokesperson said enquiries are ongoing and at this early stage of the investigation there have been no arrests.
