A police swoop across Southwark and Lambeth last week led to nine charged including alleged drug dealers from Bermondsey, Peckham and Surrey Quays.
Twenty-four people were initially arrested after a series of dawn raids, with the Met confirming nine had now been charged as follows:
- Ricardo Gayle, aged 25, from Concorde Way in Surrey Quays was charged on Friday, August 23, with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply
- Kemar Smith, 30, of Law Street in Bermondsey, was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, and possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply
- Rushard Brown, 23, of Hastings Close in Peckham was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, and possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply
On Wednesday, August 21, twenty-year-old Joel Stennett, from Rommany Road in Gispsy Hill was charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
Also charged for alleged drug offences were Jamie Danquah, aged 21, from Strathmore Road in Croydon, Afis Giwa, aged 41 from Pollards Hill East in Norbury, 25-year-old Carvelle Robinson from Grange Road in Thornton Heath, Adisa Sabado, aged 31, from Wickham Road in Croydon, and Mohammed Mohammed, aged 26, from Gleneldon Road in Streatham.
