A gang has been locked up after a twelve-week burglary spree of luxury cars and jewellery.
The three Peckham men and an accomplice from Croydon took on a regular habit of stealing luxury cars by breaking into homes and stealing cars keys.
The gang committed forty-five offences in total, between May and August last year, at properties across south London.
Tom Ward, 26, Martin Corcoran, 18, Anthony Casey, 26, and Martin Sweeney, 23, were arrested on August 19 during a foiled break-in attempt in Westminster Road, Sutton.
Their crime spree saw the gang steal Audis, Mercedes and VW Golfs, and later change the number plates to use in other heists. The thieves also swiped cash, jewellery, digital cameras and passports from the homes they targeted.
Ward, of Peckham, was jailed for four-and-a-half years at Croydon Crown Court on March 17.
Casey, of Peckham, was jailed for six years on March 9.
Corcoran, of Peckham, was sentenced to three years behind bars and Martin Sweeney, 23, of Ripley Close, Croydon, was jailed for five years.
All had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary at a previous hearing.
