A Bermondsey ten-year-old reportedly called police after an alleged armed burglar entered a family home in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police said they were called to the address by the youngster.
When they arrived at the house at around 3am, they challenged the man with a taser in the living room, they said.
The man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and taken to a south London police station.
He has since been charged with threats to kill, affray, assault by beating and using violence to secure entry.
Police remanded him in custody to appear at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 2).
