Police in the South Bank were pelted with items by a ‘large group’ on Saturday night.
The officers, who had been patrolling Jubilee Gardens, were targeted shortly before 9pm on June 12.
A section 35 dispersal order was put in place and the area was cleared with help from the Territorial Support Group, dog units and National Police Air Service.
In a statement issued this morning (Sunday, June 13) the Met said it was ‘not aware’ of any injuries to officers and that one person had been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
A police presence remains in the area.
