Homeless Charity CRISIS is hosting a Halloween fundraising event at its Elephant and Castle store for the first time this month, writes Nora Selina Helal…
In support of ‘Musicians against Homelessness’, the event will be taking place on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at 8pm.
Adam Secker, manager of the Elephant and Castle Crisis shop said: “We are all really excited and looking forward to it being a great evening.
“We have some fantastic entertainment lined up including Live Samba band Casa da Cachaca, a local Brixton DJ pumping out some killer tunes and a live performance from south London singer songwriter Rory Gillanders all in support of Musicians against homelessness.
“We have collaborated with a lot of people within the community to make this happen.
“We’ve already had really strong support from local businesses who have donated some fantastic raffle prizes and every penny that we raise on the evening will go towards supporting the vital work of Crisis to end homelessness for good.”
The event will aim to raise funds for Crisis, provide opportunities for up and coming artists to showcase their talent and engage the local community in the work Crisis does.
