Kids can learn how to make art at home for free in Sunday sessions run by Dulwich Picture Gallery.
The gallery is putting on four sessions at the end of each month aimed at 7-12-year-olds and their families, although children of all ages are welcome. The first two were in February and March and the next is happening this Sunday (April 25) at 2pm.
The sessions are led by local artist and teacher Francesca Centioni-Dene. The upcoming event will focus on plants, following a recent photography exhibition put on by Dulwich Picture Gallery called Unearthed:Photography’s Roots, that looked at plants and botany.
Anyone who wants to take part should sign up for free here: https://www.dulwichpicturegallery.org.uk/whats-on/family-events/2021/february/art-sundays-online/
Before you get started, you will need basic arts and crafts supplies like paper, pens and glue. You may need some other materials – if you sign up, you will get an email telling you what else you should get.
