CCTV images of a man who died at Clapham North underground station have now been released in the hope he can be identified.
British Transport Police have circulated an appeal for information and description of the man who was found shortly after 10am on April 7 after reports of a casualty on the tracks. But so far there have been no new leads. His death is not believed to be suspicious.
The man, pictured, is believed to be aged between 25 and 35 and had a short lack beard and black framed glasses.
He was wearing a blue Everlast jacket – with a distinctive logo, pictured – over a grey jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms, and blue socks with white stars. His trainers were Nike and light blue and grey.
Detective Sergeant Gerry Griffin said: “This was a tragic incident and we are working very hard to identify this man so we can let his family know what’s happened and give them the support they need.
“We have made extensive enquiries but now we need the public’s help. If you know who this man may be, then I would urge you to contact us as soon as possible.
Anyone who may have information about the man’s identity is asked to contact BTP as soon as possible by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40.
It would help if the picture of the young man was as large as the picture of the back of the BTP officer, as it’s him you are trying to identify.
