Four cars were involved in a collision with with two mopeds on a busy Rotherhithe road on Wednesday evening (June 15).
One person was rushed to a major trauma centre with leg injuries, and another person was treated at the scene.
The pile-up took place near the post office, not far from Surrey Quays Overground station, at about 7.45pm.
A spokesperson for the Met said: “Police were called at 19:45hrs on Wednesday, 15 June to reports of a road traffic collision in Lower Road, SE16.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a car in collision with two mopeds and three cars.
“One person was treated at the scene. His injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests have been made.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.49pm yesterday (15 June) to reports of a road traffic collision on Lower Road in south east London.
“We sent two ambulance crews to the scene. We treated two patients and took a man with leg injuries to a major trauma centre.”
