Event caterers Bubble have turned their Camberwell-based professional kitchen into a production line for St George the Martyr Church’s food bank and community fridge.
The catering team are making around 100 meals a day, for at least the next month, which are being distributed in Borough High Street to elderly, homeless and low-income families.
Bubble director Michael Collins said: “This is a time of great hardship for many people.
“As a business operating in the events world, we have seen normal operations grind to a halt with the postponement of every spring and early summer event.
“We felt it was important to use our facilities, network and expertise to support a fantastic local charity, and at the same time galvanise our workforce with a shared mission of positive support for the community”
