A father and daughter team are ‘climbing’ Mount Everest one step at a time to raise funds for COVID-19 community work.
Seven-year-old May and her dad Ian are climbing the height of Mount Everest on their stairs at home to raise money for Nunhead Knocks’ weekly shop for shielded and self-isolating neighbours.
Every day they are going up their home’s 20 steps almost 200 times.
By day seventeen they will have climbed as high as Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. Just £5 pays for a day’s groceries.
For those with time to give, Nunhead Knocks is also in need of more volunteers.
We're on the hunt for more volunteers including:
-? full stack developers ??
-? sustainability champions ?Please email nk.volunteering@gmail.com if you're interested! #nunhead #peckham #volunteering #communitysupport #nunheadknocks pic.twitter.com/X5UE0WOjQx
