Southwark Fire Brigade delivered meals to older residents and those most vulnerable to Coronavirus today.
The crews were helping get meals to those who need them as part of a joint effort with Fooditude, Bermondsey Skills and Employment Training, Pembroke House and Southwark Council.
They were also on hand to help provide lunch for primary schools across the borough, like Southwark Park Primary, still open for key workers’ children.

As the News has reported, Fooditude is a catering company that has reopened its professional kitchen to make community meals during the lockdown.
Amazing things happen when we work together during this pandemic ? Today the local fire brigade lent a hand in getting our meals to the most vulnerable people in the Southwark community. #fooditude4community #notjustfires @BermondseyEST @ThePlanetMark @mrjamesob @Southwark_News pic.twitter.com/NNrzaNgAvr
