Residents are set to discuss alternative plans for Rotherhithe’s South Dock Marina.
In September, Southwark Council revealed plans to build a 26-storey residential tower block next to the boatyard despite a public campaign for the council to reconsider.
Residents voiced fears over the potential noise and disruption building such a large tower next to the boatyard would cause.
A community meeting to discuss alternative plans for the boatyard is to be held at Docklands Settlement Centre, in Salter Road, at 7pm today (April 5) with a presentation by Adrian Priestman.
