Man in court for betting shop robbery offences

A man has appeared in court following a series of robbery offences committed at betting shops in south east London.

Kenneth Brown, 53,  of no fixed address, was charged on Tuesday,  with two counts of attempted robbery, and one count of robbery.

He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on yesterday (Wednesday, 25 March). He was remanded in custody to next appear at Croydon Crown Court on 22 April.

The charges relates to three separate incidents at different bookmakers in the New Cross on 11 March and 17 March.
