Blackfriars Bridge and Waterloo Bridge will be closed to traffic on Saturday, November 11, for the Lord Mayor’s Show, which will end with a huge fireworks display on the Thames.
Traffic closures will be in place throughout most of the Square Mile from 7am with most roads re-opening from 6pm.
The fireworks display will begin at 5.15pm from a barge moored between Blackfriars Bridge and Waterloo Bridge. Blackfriars Bridge will be closed all day and Waterloo Bridge will be closed to traffic from 4pm to allow crowds to see the fireworks display.
Both bridges will re-open before 6pm once the event has finished.
