Northern line trains will run throughout the night from Saturday, as the Night Tube returns to the line after the pandemic.
The Night Tube already restarted on the Jubilee line in May, as well as the Victoria and Central lines in November last year. The Piccadilly Line is set to run Night Tube services starting from this summer. All night-time services, which usually run on Fridays and Saturdays, were suspended when lockdown started in March 2o20.
It comes after a petition launched last year to reinstate the Night Tube to protect women travelling home at night gained tens of thousands of signatures.

Nick Dent, TfL director of customer operations, said: “Night Tube provides a safe and quick travel option for all Londoners and visitors looking to make the most of all the capital has to offer in the evenings, and those who need to travel to or from work at night.”
The Northern line is one of three Tube lines that run through Southwark, alongside the Jubilee and Bakerloo lines.
