National news outlets have reported that the black Vauxhall Astra allegedly slammed into the property’s front garden at around 1am on Monday May 9.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police reportedly said: “Officers attended and found a car that had struck the exterior of a property causing minor damage.
“The driver of the car sustained a minor injury and was assessed by paramedics, but did not require hospital treatment. No offences were identified.”
The car which was reportedly towed away at around 5pm, apparently damaged hedges, a tree and took out a pillar on the pavement.
Photos from the crash show the vehicle lodged in hedge metres away from the front door, and debris strewn across the street.
