Fisher boxer Caroline Dubois added another title to her collection last weekend after winning the tri-nations championship to add to her England schoolgirl and Junior ABA wins.
The teenage u57kg fighter has come a long way in a short time at her Bermondsey gym under the expert tutelage of coach Steve Hiser. He said: “She fought a Welsh girl and stopped her in a round, the fight barely lasted half a minute.
She is unbeaten in about ten bouts now and it looks like she will be selected for the European junior championships now.
“She deserves it as she works hard, listens to instructions and she has quite a lot of talent. She has improved a hell of lot recently.”
Last Saturday another Fisher fighter Joe Cheeseman, thirteen, won the south east London section of the schoolboy championships.
