Hot shot striker Daniel Carr will return to Champion Hill for next season after signing terms with Dulwich Hamlet in the last week.
Carr, 22, banged in the goals that saw the Pink and Blues secure promotion from the Ryman League South in 2013, before signing terms with Huddersfield Town.
Now with three years in the top echelons of the game under his belt he is returning to south London, hoping once again to help Hamlet move up another level on the non-league ladder.
The striker tweeted: “Really looking forward to working with Gavin [Rose] once again – a manager who I’ve thrived under previously.
He added: “I’m looking forward to being given the games and opportunities to show what I’m about and most importantly putting the ball in the back of the net.”
In the time Carr has left and returned to the club centre-half Ethan Pinnock has become one of the most consistent and impressive players in the Hamlet squad.
Not surprisingly his level of performance has caught the eye of a number of scouts and this week Dulwich announced he will be joining National League club Forest Green Rovers, who operate one step from professional football.
The 22-year-old tweeted: “Going to miss @DulwichHamletFC, @Aspire_Football & the fans who always give the team great support. Best of luck to the club in the future.”
At the end of the 2014/15 campaign Pinnock swept the Player of the Year gongs after picking up the Manager’s, Player’s and Supporters awards.
Last season he was once again named Player’s Player of the Year and he shared the Manager’s award with winger Nyren Clunis.
Hamlet boss Rose has also signed defender Marc Weatherstone from Ryman Premier Division side Wingate & Finchley as he continues to re-build his much changed squad in the close season
