NINO Adom-Malaki has moved to Sutton United in League Two in a loan move until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has yet to make his breakthrough into Millwall’s first-team despite being on the fringes of the squad throughout this campaign.
He has been selected for the bench on 11 occasions this season but is still waiting for his debut.
But the defender will now get a chance to impress elsewhere in London with Sutton in a relegation battle towards the bottom of the EFL.
Adom-Malaki emerged through the Kinetic Foundation, the football charity offering an alternative route into professional football. He signed for Millwall in January 2021.
The full-back then signed a new long-term deal with Millwall in October last year.
Sutton are now managed by Millwall legend Steve Morison who took over earlier this month, replacing the sacked Matt Gray. Morison had been in charge of Hornchurch in the Isthmian League Premier Division, the seventh-tier of English football, as he looked to get his managerial career back on track after his sacking by Cardiff City.
The U’s drew 2-2 against promotion-chasing Barrow in Morison’s first game in charge and are six points away from safety. They are also only one point above bottom side Forest Green Rovers, who are managed by Troy Deeney.
