DULWICH HAMLET travel to Twerton Park on Saturday afternoon (Kick-off: 3pm) for what promises to be an enthralling match against Bath City.
Dulwich currently sit 17th in National League South, hovering just above the relegation zone. The south London side have taken four points from their opening four fixtures.
Bath, meanwhile, lie comfortably in mid-table. After losing their opening two games they have enjoyed consecutive victories leaving them in 10th place.
The Londoners will hope star man Anthony Cook is on top form, while Hamlet’s shaky defence will have to contend with the threat of Bath’s deadly new striker, John Mills.
The bookies make Bath favourites:
William Hill are offering Bath EVS; Draw 12/5; Dulwich 9/4
Bet365 are offering Bath 19/20; Draw 12/5; Dulwich 14/5
However, at this stage of the season league positions can be deceptive with so few points separating those at the top from the bottom.
Hamlet fans will be encouraged by excellent performances against East Thurrock and in last week’s draw with a strong Chelmsford side. Gavin Rose’s side have adapted well to the division. Even when results have not gone their way, they do not appear to be out of their depth.
This game could therefore be much more evenly matched than many seem to think.
Whatever transpires, Dulwich’s supporters will no doubt be singing their hearts out in the West Country.
