Marie Curie house’s fire risk assessment was updated in January 2020 to “substantial”
The most intrusive work on the building will not start until June 2022 earliest
The first phase of work is due to begin in January next year
If work is to start on time the block would need to be mostly empty by the end of 2021
Leaseholders will also be negotiated with on a ‘case by case’ basis
