The programme for this year’s London Literature Festival at the Southbank Centre has been curated by pop star Dua Lipa.
The events will take place between Tuesday 20 October and Sunday 1 November in the venue’s 75th anniversary year, with tickets going on general sale this morning.
The singer will make an appearance on the Southbank on Saturday 24 October at 3pm, discussing novelist Zadie Smith’s debut novel, White Teeth, with the author.
Other events include talks from Noughts & Crosses author Malorie Blackman, American singer-songwriter and poet Patti Smith and US-based author, activist and journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates.

Speaking about the line-up, Dua Lipa said: “Curating the line up for the London Literature Festival with my Service95 Book Club has been a true joy and I’m so proud of the programme we have created.
“We’ll be joined by icons as well as emerging voices from across the arts the world needs to know.
“You will recognize some as friends of the book club, and others may be your first introduction, but ultimately, I wanted to create a space that brings together some of the most exciting writers, poets, and thinkers from around the globe.”
She added: “I’m looking forward to being both in-conversation and taking my seat in the audience at this iconic venue.”
