Police are investigating whether a shooting and a stabbing around a Peckham estate yesterday were linked.
Just after 4am a 21-year-old was shot in the leg in Ormside Street on the Tustin Estate. A few hours later a nineteen-year-old was stabbed in nearby Ilderton Road, at the junction with Old Kent Road.
Both victims were taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Southwark CID are investigating alongside Trident officers.
No arrests have been made and enquires continue as the police try to establish whether the two incidents are linked.
Ilderton Road remained shut into the afternoon while police investigated.
