A globe-trotting chemistry teacher will push for a stricter immigration policy when he stands for UKIP in May’s general election.
David Kurten, 43, will challenge Harriet Harman for Camberwell and Peckham’s parliamentary seat, which the Labour Deputy Leader has held for over three decades. Harman has been MP for Camberwell and Peckham since 1982 – Ladbrokes bookmakers currently offer odds of 100/1 for Kurten to win the election.
