Now the club is back at Champion Hill, Dulwich Hamlet FC has been busy getting the grounds ready for its first home games over Christmas.
Last week the news had a sneak peak at the newly fitted out Hamlet Bar, which club director Tom Cullen promises will show everything and anything when it comes to football – and serve up affordable pints.
As much as the club loves its locals – including the East Dulwich Tavern – it also wants a space of its own as a community hub for Hamlet and football fans.
From Monday, January 7, the bar will be open seven days a week complete with BT and Sky Sports and a pool table.

On top of £3.50 pints, house wine and spirits, the club bar will also stock local beers from Brick brewery, Four Pure, Canopy, Gipsy Hill and Southy – and you can get food delivered there to eat in.
Club director Tom Cullen told the News he was delighted to have the bar up and running in time for the Boxing Day home fixture.
“It is going to be a place where we can watch the football and enjoy local beer – come check it out,” he said.
