Norwich have had quite a large turnover of players this summer after what was a disappointing season for Daniel Farke’s men.
Millwall fans will be hoping for a repeat of the Den performance over the Canaries last season, a 4-0 victory in which there were four different scorers for the home side.
Star men James Maddison and Josh Murphy have both moved on to make the step-up to the Premier League, where Murphy will face off against his brother Jacob, who plays for Newcastle.
Maddison netted 14 times in 2017-18 and has been tipped to go on to play for England. Norwich had little chance of keeping him at Carrow Road.
As the Lions found out all too recently, Norwich can offer targets big money, and isn’t afraid to splash the cash, with a higher offer being the deciding factor in Ben Marshall choosing to join Farke’s side.
Tim Krul is also likely to be on a large wage after signing from Brighton on Tuesday.
Prediction: Mid-table
Norwich have lost a couple of key players but also added quality in the likes of Marshall.
Jordan Rhodes is a proven goalscorer at this level too and he may thrive in this team, but a lack of football in the past couple of years at Hillsborough may have set him bck.
A lot of new signings have come in and will take time to integrate, so there are still issues for Farke to iron out.
They won’t struggle, but I can’t see Norwich challenging for the top six either.
