Plans to demolish an old pub and build flats in its place have been withdrawn.
The proposal for the site of the former Orange Bull, also previously known as the Aardvark, was submitted to the council in July.
The application was recently withdrawn, however Planning & Party Wall Specialists Ltd, which drew up the plans, told the News it was to allow for further design alterations to be made and that the application would be resubmitted.
The pub, which now sits empty in Rotherhithe Street, could be knocked down to make way for a four-storey building containing eight flats with a roof garden, if the plans go ahead.
