Police investigating the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old in West Norwood made a sixth arrest today.
Ramane Wiggan died on Wednesday, March 27 at the scene where he was fatally shot on Friar Mews in West Norwood.
A 22-year-old man was arrested today on suspicion of assisting an offender and taken to a police station for questioning.
Officers are continuing to appeal for further information about the murder of Ramane, who lived in Tulse Hill.
A post-mortem at Greenwich Mortuary on Friday, March 29 found the provisional cause of Ramane’s death to be a gunshot wound.
So far during the investigation, two twenty-seven year olds have been arrested, but were later released without investigation.
In April, a nineteen-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been bailed to a date in late July.
Another 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in May, and has been bailed to a date in early August, said police.
A 43-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, but has since been released under investigation.
