A teenager has become the third person charged with the murder of Peckham’s Lavaun Witter.
Eighteen-year-old Tyreece Wolfries-Parkin, from Rothesay Road in Selhurst, was arrested on Monday (March 22). He was charged with murder the same day.
Lavaun, 22, was found stabbed in Croydon’s Wisbeach Road at 8.10pm on February 5. He died at the scene.
Wolfries-Parkin has also been charged with the attempted murder of a sixteen-year-old boy and possession of a bladed article.
He will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday, March 23).
The two other men charged over the murder are Tyreece Riggon, 20, of Armistice Gardens in South Norwood and Julian Russell, 22, of Sanfield Road in Thornton Heath.
They have also been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm of a sixteen-year-old boy and possession of a bladed article.
They appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on February 20 and were remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on May 10.
