A Bermondsey man has pleaded not guilty to having sex with a teenage girl under the legal age of consent.
Thomas Castles, 32, was charged with five counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child under the age of sixteen, between 2018 and 2019.
Appearing in the dock at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday morning (June 29), in a blue jumper and white shirt, Castles pleaded not guilty to all counts.

Castles, who is from the Neckinger Estate, remains in custody. The judge decided to set a decision on possible bail for two weeks’ time, on August 12. Castles’ trial date has been set for October 10.
