MILLWALL could confirm a new permanent manager before the visit of Cardiff City to The Den on Tuesday evening.
Former Birmingham, Derby and Stoke City boss Gary Rowett is odds-on to be Neil Harris’ successor.
Caretaker manager Adam Barrett oversaw his second match in charge following Harris’ resignation as the Lions blew a two-goal lead at Brentford on Saturday before losing 3-2.
Barrett was on a shortlist of three candidates with Rowett and Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth for the job.
The new manager’s first game in charge is set to be against Stoke City on Saturday.
