DAGENHAM & Redbridge boss Peter Taylor said he ‘totally respects’ Millwall’s decision to recall Harry Donovan from a loan spell at the National League club.
Donovan, 20, joined Dagenham during the summer on a youth loan scheduled to last until January.
Former Arsenal youth player Donovan made 10 league starts as well as three substitute appearances.
The Lions previously recalled him in August and he was on the bench for the 3-2 win over Plymouth in the second round of the EFL Cup, before he linked up again with former Leicester boss Taylor’s side.
“I totally respect Millwall’s decision to call Harry back, he has been a model professional since he joined us at the start of the season,” Taylor said. “He has played really well in a difficult season for us and we thank and wish him well.”
