STEVE Morison is a doubt to face Bristol Rovers at The Den this weekend.
Morison, 33, damaged his knee and was stretchered off against Southend last Friday.
Lions boss Neil Harris isn’t completely ruling out the striker, but isn’t giving a time frame on a likely return.
“We’re hopeful for Saturday but if he’s not going to make Saturday it’s going to be a period of time,” Harris said. “He could be available Saturday but if he’s not it could be a little but longer.
“We have our fingers crossed at the moment.”
Meanwhile, Shaun Hutchinson was taken off late on in the 3-1 win over Luton in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday, but Harris confirmed that was a precautionary measure.
Harris said: “He was just cramping up a little bit, it was his second game in four days. Hutch needs minutes and I thought he led the team as my captain really well.
“He showed his leadership qualities and I was pleased for him.”
