RYAN Woods is available for Millwall’s trip to Leeds after he was cup-tied against Sheffield United at the weekend as Shaun Williams completes his three-match ban.
Mahlon Romeo and Shaun Hutchinson should return to a five-man defence after they were rested against the Blades.
Jed Wallace will come into the attack at Elland Road, with boss Gary Rowett to decide who should join him in what’s likely to be a front three against Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Bielsa is without influential midfielder Kalvin Phillips, who’s suspended. Bielsa confirmed Ben White would start in place of Phillips.
Winger Ian Poveda could make his Whites debut after joining from Manchester City last week. Jean-Kevin Augustin is unlikely to be involved after the striker’s arrival on loan from RB Leipzig on Monday.
Millwall defeated Leeds 2-1 at The Den earlier in the season under caretaker boss Adam Barrett.
Bielsa knows what to expect from the visitors on Tuesday. “It’s an aggressive team. They know how to play. Each player has a specific role and function. They do this to try to be sure of how they play.”
If the Lions can repeat their win over Leeds in January 2018 – their only victory at Elland road in seven league games – they would move to within five points of the Whites and hand Bielsa four consecutive defeats in all competitions for the first time since April 2015 when he was at Marseilles.
