Children from St Mary Magdalene Primary in Peckham took a trip around the world in a matter of hours when they enjoyed a Passport to the World day.
The ‘cultural carnival’ was for all the pupils, their parents and the teachers and staff on Tuesday May 19.
The children got to dress up in traditional costume, taste cuisine from different continents and play music from all over the world, which they have been studying in class.
“What a wonderful journey everyone had,” said Headteacher, Jenny Parris. “It was a true cultural carnival with flags flying, international music beating, traditional costume wearing and an inspiring range of activities.”
