A sixteen-year-old boy has been charged with murder by police investigating the fatal stabbing of Clinton Evbota on Camberwell’s Brandon Estate.
The boy, who is from Camberwell, was arrested on Tuesday and is due to appear at Bromley Youth Court today.
Murder victim eighteen-year-old Clinton died at the scene of the stabbing on the estate’s Grimsel Path on Thursday, October 10.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the teen was pronounced dead at around 9.15pm. He had suffered “multiple stab wounds.”
Seven others – all males aged between fourteen to eighteen years-of-age – were arrested as part of the ongoing investigation into Clinton’s killing.
One of those, a fourteen-year-old, has been released with no further action. The other six have been bailed pending further enquiries.
