Every day is dog-friendly at Tower Bridge, as London’s defining landmark is proud to be one of London’s only major dog-friendly attractions – recognising that dogs are part of the family. But for one day only on Sunday 13th June 2021, the bridge will be giving our canine friends the pedigree treatment.
Dogs and their owners will be given exclusive access to the East Walkway and its Glass Floor across the day, with the first 50 dogs receiving a free VIPooch treat bag (worth £20), kindly donated by Pets Pyjamas. Expect toys, grain-free treats, vouchers and more.
What to expect
Dogs and their human companions can climb the iconic Towers and discover the stories of the people behind Tower Bridge, from the architects and coal stokers, to the women working on-site.
They can sit, lie and pose on the Glass Floors in the Walkways, and look down at spectacular views of the city from 42m above the Thames.
Then, discover the original Victorian Engine Rooms and see the massive coal-burning boilers and accumulators that once powered Tower Bridge.
All Tower Bridge asks is that dogs are kept on a lead and supervised during their visit. Dog refreshments will be available.
Dog lovers without their own pooch will also be able to enjoy the day as more dogs roam around Tower Bridge than usual!
