BEN Thompson is suspended for tonight’s League One clash with Port Vale as Millwall look for their first league win in five fixtures.
Thompson serves a one-match ban for his red card against Rochdale at the weekend. Calum Butcher and Jimmy Abdou are the options to replace the midfielder, though Lions boss Neil Harris hinted he could start both players if he decides to tweak his formation.
Joe Martin comes back into contention after his one-match ban and is likely to replace Sid Nelson in the starting XI.
Lee Gregory started for the first time in seven fixtures in the 3-2 defeat to Rochdale on Saturday and Harris will make a late decision whether to include him.
Elsewhere, Aiden O’Brien is a big dount after picking up a knee injury at the weekend. David Worrall or Fred Onyedinma could be his replacement.
Defenders Shaun Cummings and Shaun premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/diabetes/ Hutchinson are still out.
Port Vale have won all five games at home this season. They made a surprise managerial appointment in former Leeds United and Sheffield United midfielder Bruno Ribeiro in the summer, and robustly changed their squad with the acquisition of 17 new players.
Ribeiro could be without influential midfielder Sam Foley, who missed the 2-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
Port Vale are sixth in League One, but only two points separate them from Millwall in 14th. Millwall did the league double over the Valiants last season, winning 2-0 at Vale Park and 3-1 at The Den.
