DEFENDER Mahlon Romeo has signed a new long-term deal with the club.
Romeo, who will be 23 next September, signed a two-year contract last summer with the club having the option to extend it for a further 12 months.
But Millwall have rewarded him after a positive first season in the Championship and he has signed fresh terms.
Romeo was the first signing of the Neil Harris era after the right-back had been released by Gillingham in April 2015.
He made a spectacular senior competitive debut when he scored in a 3-0 win over Walsall in a League One game in February 2016.
Romeo lost his place in the side to new signing Conor McLaughlin at the beginning of last season. He had to wait until December for his first league start in place of the suspended McLaughlin, and scored in a 3-1 win over Sheffield United. He kept his place for the remainder of the campaign.
Romeo has made 89 senior competitive appearances for Millwall.
