IT was a difficult weekend for Millwall players out on loan across three divisions at the weekend.
Harry Smith played up front for Swindon as Ben Tozer scored the only goal of the game for Newport at The County Ground. Swindon dropped out of the play-offs to eighth in League Two.
Sid Nelson wasn’t involved for Yeovil as they lost 2-1 at Wycombe, former Lions youth player Eberechi Eze on target for the Chairboys.
Defender James Brown was back in Carlisle’s starting line-up as they drew 1-1 at home against Morecambe. Keith Curle’s side are 14th in the fourth tier.
In League One, Jimmy Abdou was on the bench as AFC Wimbledon’s difficulties continued with a 2-1 defeat at home to Walsall.
And in the National League, Jamie Philpot played 90 minutes for Woking in their 2-1 defeat at Boreham Wood.
