LEE Gregory has insisted Millwall are doing nothing differently despite a drastic change in their away results recently.
Gregory has scored twice in the last two away games, at Leeds and then his 50th goal in the Football League at Reading on Saturday, the Lions’ first two wins away from The Den this season.
Asked if they had altered their approach for fixtures on the road, Gregory responded: “No, nothing’s changed. We’re doing exactly what we were at the start of the season, but this time we are being more clinical.
“The boys were class today. It was good to get the win away from home, second of the season so now we’re marching on.”
Gregory scored a brilliant second goal at the Madejski Stadium, when he rounded Royals stopper Vito Mannone before finding the net from a difficult angle.
But he wasn’t patting himself on the back too much afterwards as he humbly said: “I just closed my eyes and just hit it and it went in, didn’t it?”
Millwall face Rochdale tonight in the FA Cup, and Gregory is eyeing a potentially huge reward in the fifth round.
“We want to win,” he said: “We want Spurs down at The Den, so it’s a big game for us. We want to win it.”
After that Millwall welcome Cardiff to The Den on Friday night, in what promises to be a feisty affair.
Tim Cahill could feature for the first time since his move back to the club, and Gregory is looking forward to his impact.
He said: “He’s brought in nothing yet. The fans are buzzing, he’s a nice guy and I am sure he’ll do well for us.”
